With the in-person Gary Con XII being cancelled due to the corona virus pandemic, there is precious little time to move everything online and add enough virtual games to support the 3,000+ tickets already sold.
The Gongfarmer’s Almanac has over 50 adventures that are free to download and ready to play. We’d love for you to run one at Virtual Gary Con XII!
How to Host a Virtual Gary Con GFA Adventure
- Download GFA 2015-2019 (Free) and pick out what you want to run from the List of All GFA Adventures.
- Buy Virtual Gary Con XII Badge (Free)
- Review How to Run an Event and decide what platform you will be using. FYI most DCC games are mostly theater of the mind so, if you’re not technically savvy or just don’t need or want a lot of technology, Google Hangouts, Skype, Zoom, or JoinMe might be more than enough (see registration hints for more details).
- Submit a New Event and be sure to include “DCC”, “GFA”, and any other system (such as “Bronx Beasts” or “Trench Crawl Classics”) in the event description; if you are the author also include “with the author” in the description and, if it is a playtest, also include “playtest”.
- Review your “Events I’m Hosting”
- Contact us and let us know your name and which adventures you are running so we can let the world know!
